Over the course of eight months, the Institute for Cyber Routines and Performative Research (ICRPR) employed 26 local teenagers from Stuttgart: young researchers. Their object of research: the internet. How does it affect our lives? how do social media platforms change the way we communicate with each other? How do we listen to music online? How do these digital experiences shape our analog bodies?
Divided into three departments with different foci, the researchers developed musical and theatrical scenes and produced videos and recordings, reflecting their own experiences in workshops, discussion rounds and a variety of artistic experiments, conducted by the production team. These experiments were documented and put online. On June 1st, they presented them at the music theatre conference ON_THE_LINE at the Kammertheater Stuttgart, furthermore competing against each other to win a special price...
