The lanterns are a series of pieces, made up of old T-shirts from myself and friends. I thought of them as ghosts or maybe figurations of past relations in their two-ness. As if the past or some ghost of it would modulate the ambience of a space through light. They can be shown in different light conditions, as either more self-contained objects or kind of dim exhibition lights as in the context of Giddy Flames.
